After last spring's critically acclaimed concert at Jazzfest in Trondheim, Norwegian audiences have really opened their eyes to this accomplished Italian pianist, vocalist and bandleader. She comes to the jazz festival with her own trio and a set list that guarantees virtuoso and stylish swing.
Francesca has her roots in bop, but the songs and the trio's expression draw on many more genres and styles. It's not often you find a performer and composer who can move so freely and uninhibitedly between the energetic and virtuosic and the more introverted and lyrical.
