What's her face
Living set design and animated beings bring the stage to life, creating a poetic and visual experience. One character, one circus. And the complex facets of a woman living abroad.

Welcome to an open rehearsel of What´s Her Face by Luiza Adjuto. An open rehearsel means it is a work in progress, and not a complete performance. The project explores the complex facets of the inner world of a traveling circus woman through a poetic and visually impactful narrative, combining circus, physical theater, dance, performance, and scenography alongside theoretical research. The show addresses themes such as feminine identity, the immigration experience, cultural stereotypes, personal transformation, and the duality between monstrosity and beauty. Structured in interconnected scenes, the performance presents different global female archetypes as a way to understand the many facets of a woman — the many a woman can be, especially when she migrates.

What’s-her-face is an artistic and poetic construction that aims to connect with diverse audiences. In addition to those experiencing immigration, the project also seeks to resonate with women, inviting them to engage with their own memories and personal reflections through symbols of the feminine universe.
The performance is free, but you have to get your tickets in advance.
