A creative industries hub within Bærum Kulturhus’ organization
Tanken, a sub-division of Bærum Kulturhus, offers recording studios, rehearsal rooms, pre-production facilities, counselling, and support for creative industry companies located in Bærum municipality.
Skilled staff support growth of start-ups and well-established companies through a wide range of initiatives including social workspaces, songwriting camps, facilitation of rehearsal rooms, subsidized studio rent, networking events and other activities that cater to the music industry, media companies and various other companies within the multi-faceted field that is Bærum’s creative industry.
Internationally successful acts Sassy009, Ary, CLMD and Baya have launched their careers with a base at Tanken, and continue to be supported by the key institution.
Øveriet – rehearsal studios
In collab with established rehearsal studio provider Øveriet, Tanken offers a brand new division of its building for acts in need of rehearsal space. The newly renovated rooms are sound-proofed and equipped with PA-systems, monitors, mixers and mics to enable a well-functioning rehearsal space.
